filler Slowly adding back functionality
Announcements
I'm slowly adding back functionality to the site.  I'll be moving video into it's own category and area and I have a few surprises in the video area that I'll be adding over time.    The video will be off in its own area to reduce load time of the site. I'll be adding forums, and other special areas as time goes on.    The upper right will have an exensive menu system to reach all the individual areas, and as time goes on I'll attempt to write my own module for this site.  If I can pull it off and it's easy, I'll be adding more modules over time.

filler We are back!
Announcements

Thank you for visiting. Sorry for being off line for so long. The site is running on a new server, a new updated/upgraded portal engine, and will have lots of new features and additions added in the coming weeks.

All original registered Users are still here. Feel free to reset your password and log back in!

As you can see, I have re-imported the articles that were here before.

There's a "competitor" in town as well. Silly actually, the domain name is a couple letters different from this site. Too bad people can't come up with their own original ideas and implement them instead of riding on someone else's coat tails.

In any case, a lot more will be coming on line in the following weeks. Please stop back. I've got some very cool things planned, and have a whole slew of  new features, announcements and other things up my sleeve!

Regards,

Curt

Everyday is a fresh start.
Begin your day saying positive affirmations to yourself. Smile and be cheerful to everyone you meet.

Your thoughts are pure energy!
If you could fully comprehend the awesome power of your thoughts, you would immediately dedicate 100% of your mind to positive thinking, and you would be forever frightened of the consequences of negative thinking.

Time sure flies! What happened to the Summer!

I've been putting in a lot of time on a product that I'm hoping to release in beta in the next couple of weeks. So, I've had my nose to the grid stone. I also have 2 web sites to finish up, as well as one large one in negotiation stages.

My oldest son started school on Tuesday, and my youngest starts pre-school next week. Where did my "babies" go? My Best friend got married last weekend, I was the best man. I had a great time, and I'm sure they're having a great time on their Honeymoon now.

filler Articles: Surprise surprise, here we go again...
Community_Announce
I copied the article instead of just posting the link. I want this information to be known out there. What would really make me happy is some re-assurance and PROOF that alternative forms of energy are being investigated. Not E85. Although it's a "renewable" source of energy, it sucks our earth dry of nutrients with no replenishment, and I remember reading a report somewhere that if we use 100% of our available land to grow corn (we have no "core" food in other words) for E85, less than 20% of our energy demands would be fulfilled! In the last three quarters, these companies have raked in over 30 Billion in profits. Profits are above and beyond expenses! This really makes me angry, and unfortunately they really have us over a barrel, no pun intended!

I want to see investments in wind mills, investments in solar power, investments in battery technology, fusion, you name it. I would like to see these investments (cold hard facts) FROM these companies. Not how they are drilling even deeper for oil. I could really care less. Sooner or later it's going to run out. We need to ensure our children have a future, other than horse and buggies (not to mention the "fall" of our civilization due to the conversion).

What can or do we have to do to make this happen? Suggestions?

Let's do it!

================================

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Profits at Exxon Mobil surged 36 percent to a near record $10.4 billion in the second quarter as surging oil prices helped the world's largest publicly traded company soundly beat Wall Street forecasts.

The company's profit - which amounts to a cool $1,318 a second - is the second biggest ever reported by a U.S. company, behind only the $10.7 billion Exxon itself earned in the fourth quarter of 2005.
