Slowly adding back functionality

I'm slowly adding back functionality to the site. I'll be moving video into it's own category and area and I have a few surprises in the video area that I'll be adding over time. The video will be off in its own area to reduce load time of the site. I'll be adding forums, and other special areas as time goes on. The upper right will have an exensive menu system to reach all the individual areas, and as time goes on I'll attempt to write my own module for this site. If I can pull it off and it's easy, I'll be adding more modules over time.

Thank you for visiting. Sorry for being off line for so long. The site is running on a new server, a new updated/upgraded portal engine, and will have lots of new features and additions added in the coming weeks. All original registered Users are still here. Feel free to reset your password and log back in!As you can see, I have re-imported the articles that were here before. There's a "competitor" in town as well. Silly actually, the domain name is a couple letters different from this site. Too bad people can't come up with their own original ideas and implement them instead of riding on someone else's coat tails. In any case, a lot more will be coming on line in the following weeks. Please stop back. I've got some very cool things planned, and have a whole slew of new features, announcements and other things up my sleeve!Regards,CurtCurt KruegerDigital Axiom LLC

Lessons on Life I

Everyday is a fresh start.
Begin your day saying positive affirmations to yourself. Smile and be cheerful to everyone you meet.

Your thoughts are pure energy!
If you could fully comprehend the awesome power of your thoughts, you would immediately dedicate 100% of your mind to positive thinking, and you would be forever frightened of the consequences of negative thinking.

Hello!

Time sure flies! What happened to the Summer!

I've been putting in a lot of time on a product that I'm hoping to release in beta in the next couple of weeks. So, I've had my nose to the grid stone. I also have 2 web sites to finish up, as well as one large one in negotiation stages.

My oldest son started school on Tuesday, and my youngest starts pre-school next week. Where did my "babies" go? My Best friend got married last weekend, I was the best man. I had a great time, and I'm sure they're having a great time on their Honeymoon now.

Surprise surprise, here we go again...

I copied the article instead of just posting the link. I want this information to be known out there. What would really make me happy is some re-assurance and PROOF that alternative forms of energy are being investigated. Not E85. Although it's a "renewable" source of energy, it sucks our earth dry of nutrients with no replenishment, and I remember reading a report somewhere that if we use 100% of our available land to grow corn (we have no "core" food in other words) for E85, less than 20% of our energy demands would be fulfilled! In the last three quarters, these companies have raked in over 30 Billion in profits. Profits are above and beyond expenses! This really makes me angry, and unfortunately they really have us over a barrel, no pun intended!

I want to see investments in wind mills, investments in solar power, investments in battery technology, fusion, you name it. I would like to see these investments (cold hard facts) FROM these companies. Not how they are drilling even deeper for oil. I could really care less. Sooner or later it's going to run out. We need to ensure our children have a future, other than horse and buggies (not to mention the "fall" of our civilization due to the conversion).

What can or do we have to do to make this happen? Suggestions?

Let's do it!

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Profits at Exxon Mobil surged 36 percent to a near record $10.4 billion in the second quarter as surging oil prices helped the world's largest publicly traded company soundly beat Wall Street forecasts.

The company's profit - which amounts to a cool $1,318 a second - is the second biggest ever reported by a U.S. company, behind only the $10.7 billion Exxon itself earned in the fourth quarter of 2005.

Happy 4th of July to all! Please remember our Troops!

Our Military Men and Women signed up using their own free will to defend this country. Our Government is suppose to, in OUR best interests place our troops where required to defend this country. Please give them a prayer for their service while we're here enjoying the safty our our homes and loved ones.

To all Troops Serving Our Country, I personally for what it's worth, would like to Thank You for doing the job you are doing, and putting your life on the line for us here in the great Unites States of America.
fbomn.com/infaribo.com reaches 1,000,000 page views!

We've reached the 1,000,000 page views mark! Whooo hooo!

Considering no advertising has been done, and the site content is "skimpy" and mostly done by me, it's not a bad milestone. Probably 50% is search engine crawling, but this isn't a bad thing, especially if you are mentioned here. This site is slowly moving up the page rank for Faribault, and again this is without any special work.
I'm currently working on a few different software projects that have sucked up my time. One is going into beta in a 2 - 3 weeks, and will take some hand holding to get it up to par. Once this application is out there and being used, I'll focus back on my "network sites" and get them up to speed.

14 foot Telescope in your back yard? Probably not but..

If you are into astonomy, and have a telescope but you are disappointed (or not) by what you see, you need to check out www.slooh.com! Slooh allows you to view into outerspace using a one of two telescopes high on Mt. Tiede in the Canary Islands. It's done by going to their site, you sign up (it isn't free). The site downloads a "flash" application and you can peer out into space. Check their site out for more details.

Here's a screenshot (captured using my account).

This cluster of stars is 33,900 light years (~6 trillion miles in a light year). This gives you an idea of what the telescope can "see", and gives you and idea of how vast our little universe is!

WOW what a busy month! I seem to have everything going on at the moment. I have two web sites I'm completing in my queue, I have two large software projects I'm working on, and I keep getting more customers! :) No problem here though.. Just need to figure out how to clone myself..

At home I have a kitchen that's partially remodeled, a front yard that's dug up for new construction that has been put on hold. A Back yard that I have half ready to plan new grass seed, part of the lawn isn't mowed, I chain sawed some brush I need to clean up, my TV bit the dust (still need to carry the 150lb thing to Fette's), and I just fixed a leaky faucet in the basement this evening. My Car I think has a leaky main bearing seal and it's the rear one, so it's going to be spendy..

Tips for Getting rid of Telemarketers and/or Junk Mail

Andy Rooney's tips for telemarketers

Three Little Words That Work!!

(1) The three little words are: "Hold On, Please..."

Saying this, while putting down your phone and walking off (instead of hanging-up immediately) would make each telemarketing call so much more time-consuming that boiler room sales would grind to a halt.

"Dear Civilians, "

We know that the current state of affairs in our
great nation have many civilians up in arms and excited to join the
military. For those of you who can't join, you can still lend a hand.
Here are a few of the areas where we would like your buttistance:

(1) The next time you see an adult talking (or wearing a hat) during
the playing of the National Anthem---kick their butt.

(2) When you witness, firsthand, someone burning the American Flag in protest---kick their butt.

Milltown Cycles - Ben Witt - Owner

Hello everyone,
I stopped by Milltown Cycles at Central Ave today. I spoke with Ben Witt the owner. All I can say is if you like to ride bicycles, you got to stop down and check out the new bikes! If you already have a bike, now's the time to dig out your bicycle and get it tuned up, ready for spring!

Ben gave me a brief tour of some very cool bikes. I had purchased my mountain bike back about 1990, and to me from my childhood bikes, my new bike was like a motor bike.
